We are happy to present another custommade instrument: a 5-string bass that we were allowed to build for Patric.
Having owned a Pagelli bass for many years, it was time to meet his new requirements. Neck dimensions have been meticulously taken over from the old bass so that he does not feel any changes when the bass is changed. This time passive electronics as a supplement to the active one from the 90’s.
And we also tried to incorporate his two other hobbies into the design of the bass. Let’s see who guesses ?
The bass sounds incredibly powerful, also because of the extra length of the strings of 90cm, but totally defined in all positions. Body: Mahogany, top and neck: flamed Swiss Maple, fingerboard: Ebony, mechanics: Hipshot light, pickups: Harry Häussel
